Gi Onté has been in the healthcare industry for 20 years, initially serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Patient Care Technician (PCT). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Widener University in 2009. After working 12-hour night shifts as a Heart Failure nurse, she realized her skills would be most impactful at the frontline of healthcare. In 2016, she completed a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Working as a Clinician, Gi Onté treated patients with health disparities and prescribed medications according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. Her experiences fueled her decision to extend her services to include hormone replacement therapy and comprehensive exams for both men and women, under the initiative Beyond The Lotus. Gi Onté lives by the philosophy of "practice what you preach," enjoying exercise, reading, spending time with friends and family, and taking relaxing vacations. She considers it an honor to assist others in achieving an optimal quality of life.
